If you spent last night refreshing your Megatix email hoping the screenshot on your timeline was fake — it wasn’t. The MOMOLAND fancon cancelled notice is real, it went out on July 28, and the August 8 show at FYM Hall is off. No new date has been announced, no venue swap, nothing.

What the notice actually says
The announcement came from MOMOLAND together with event management partner Three Angles Production, and the reason given was “unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.” That’s the entire explanation. Soompi picked it up the same day and ran the full English notice (their report is here).
Being upfront: that phrase is doing a lot of heavy lifting, and nobody involved has expanded on it. Anyone telling you they know the real reason right now is guessing.
Quick timeline of the momoland 10th anniversary run
- Early July — Three Angles Production announces the fan-con on X. Venue and pricing still TBA.
- July 10 — Full details confirmed: August 8, 7:30 PM, FYM Hall, EVM Convention Center, Quezon City. Presented by KGH, event management by Three Angles.
- July 16, 12 PM — Tickets go live via Megatix Asia, ₱5,000 to ₱11,500. Every tier gets a hi-bye session plus an event photocard and postcard; VVIP adds soundcheck and a 6:20 group photo, with selected buyers drawn for 6:1 solos.
- July 28 — The cancellation notice drops.
Twelve days between the on-sale and the cancellation. That gap is the part upsetting people, and fairly so.

This is what everyone’s asking, and it’s where I have to be straight with you: as of writing, I have not seen refund mechanics published anywhere — not on the organizer’s channels, not from Megatix.
For reference, when the BUS Manila fancon was called off back in April, Live Nation Philippines confirmed automatic refunds for online purchases and a box-office process for physical tickets within days. That’s the template Merries are expecting here. Whether Three Angles follows it is not something I can promise you.
Until there’s an official post with specifics, please don’t act on secondhand instructions. Do not hand your Megatix login to anyone. Ticket-assistance accounts were all over the July 16 on-sale, and refund season is exactly when that stops being harmless.
Confirmed vs. speculation
Confirmed: the show is cancelled, the stated reason is unforeseen circumstances, and the source is the organizer alongside the group itself.
Not confirmed: any specific cause. Whether it gets rescheduled. Whether other stops of the anniversary run are touched. Anything about the members’ individual schedules.
There’s also no separate momoland agency statement from Inyeon Entertainment, who the six signed with in April 2025 — the wording circulating is the organizer-side notice. I’ve seen theories about visas, venue problems, and promoter finances in the tag. All unverified, none with a source attached.
The detail I keep coming back to
August 8 has been a rough date for Manila. Park Ji Hoon’s “RE:FLECT” fancon was booked for that exact night — YY Entertainment announced on July 8 that it was relocating to Macau, citing “unavoidable circumstances.”
Two K-pop events, one date, one city, both gone inside three weeks. That proves nothing on its own. It’s still a pattern worth flagging.
Something else worth noting: this hasn’t become a Korean-community story. I can’t find a Nate Pann pile-on or a theqoo thread on it. It spread the way PH-market news usually does — as a screenshot of a text-on-image notice, passed between fan accounts for hours before the English outlets ran anything. - Whether Inyeon Entertainment says anything on the Korean side.
- Whether “cancelled” quietly turns into “postponed.”
MOMOLAND’s last appearance in the Philippines was 2022. A ten-year reunion with all six — Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, Nancy — meant something here, and losing it three weeks out lands hard.
