Our Sticky Love Recap: All 12 Episodes Explained

Written by Huzaifa · DaebakDaily
Full spoilers for all 12 episodes, including the finale.
A boyfriend should be able to explain how you met without borrowing somebody else’s love story. Jang Tae-ha apparently missed that memo. This Our Sticky Love recap, Episodes 1–12, follows the 2026 Netflix drama from Go Eun-sae’s hospital awakening through the escape attempt, her recovered memories and that complicated family revelation.
Yes, Eun-sae and Tae-ha get married. Getting there means surviving a crime boss, untangling two names and learning that protecting someone does not give you permission to decide their entire life.
Previously On: The Setup Before the Lies Unravel
There is no earlier season to catch up on here: this is the complete story across Netflix’s 12 episodes. The starting point is a woman with no memory and a boxing coach claiming they are a couple; behind that arrangement sits a prosecutor’s unfinished corruption investigation.
Episode 1: Her Boyfriend Has a Very Bad Cover Story

Eun-sae wakes in hospital without knowing who she is. Tae-ha arrives claiming they have dated for two years and plan to marry, then takes her to Gujin’s taffy-making village. His photograph looks convincing. His story about rescuing her from a toad does not.
Flashbacks expose the danger: she is prosecutor Go Ji-won, who recorded evidence against Baek Sang-gil and a corrupt mayor. Ordered to kill her, Tae-ha recognised her and staged her death instead.
Back at the house, Eun-sae tests his supposed familiarity with a sudden kiss. The episode ends with her investigating him in the most awkward way possible.
Episode 2: The Photograph Is Real; the Relationship Isn’t

The Japan flashback supplies what Tae-ha’s invented history leaves out. Eun-sae once helped him escape attackers in Kobe. They spent time together, and she explained her two names: Ji-won is her registered name; Eun-sae came from her mother.
That distinction matters. Tae-ha knows something intimate about her, but it does not prove they dated.
Meanwhile, her actual former boyfriend, Gwak Chi-hyeon, is tied to the corruption she investigated. As he searches for her, Tae-ha’s confession and another kiss create a precarious ending: real attraction is developing inside a cover story.
Episode 3: Social Media Breaks the Spell

Tae-ha’s kiss also helps conceal Eun-sae from Chi-hyeon. Afterward, appointments, shopping and time around the village allow the couple to settle into something almost ordinary.
Then Eun-sae finds an old photograph online. The woman in expensive clothes is unmistakably her, but the name is Ji-won. Why does none of that life match what Tae-ha described?
She heads to the boxing gym for answers and overhears him being called a gangster. Her doubts now have two concrete supports: a missing professional identity and a hidden criminal past. Sweetness cannot explain either away.
Episode 4: Seoul Offers Answers That Hurt

Eun-sae pulls away from Tae-ha, then travels to Seoul to meet her friend Hyo-jin. Hyo-jin confirms her birth name but mixes painful truths about their friendship with misleading claims about her life. Eun-sae returns feeling ashamed and uncertain.
Coach Hong supplies another missing piece: Tae-ha abandoned a promising boxing future to fund his grandmother’s treatment by working for Sang-gil. She raised him despite having no biological obligation to do so.
When Tae-ha later refuses to retaliate during a fight, Eun-sae sees him trying to keep his promise to change. She admits she is falling for him.
Episode 5: Socks, Music and an Umbrella

Their growing closeness is interrupted by Tae-ha’s former associate Gang-rok and Eun-sae’s recovering fragments of memory. Recollections of childhood abuse explain some of her fear and defensiveness; remembering Chi-hyeon raises fresh questions about her relationship.
She prepares to travel to Seoul with psychiatrist An Gi-jun, while Tae-ha stays behind during his grandmother’s health scare. Then she opens his care package: socks and an MP3 player chosen with her discomforts in mind.
Eun-sae turns back and meets him in the rain with an umbrella. They kiss. I find this gesture more persuasive than the boyfriend performance because it shows him paying attention.
Episode 6: Everyone Hears the Wrong Thing

Village gossip turns disconnected remarks into a story that Tae-ha does not want Eun-sae. Marriage expectations make the confusion worse. His private fear concerns sending her somewhere safe; she hears rejection.
Sang-gil, meanwhile, has confirmation that she survived. The hideout is becoming less secure just as the romance becomes more fragile.
A drunken Eun-sae claims she knows everything. Tae-ha assumes her memories have returned and starts preparing for separation. This Our Sticky Love recap reaches its most frustrating stretch here: they keep responding to what they fear the other means instead of asking a direct question.
Episode 7: Her Instincts Return Before Her Memories

When Eun-sae leaves, Tae-ha and the villagers find her and clear up the misunderstanding. He asks her to wait until her memories return before deciding about marriage. Their celebration and photographs feel hopeful, although the larger deception remains.
At young boxer Pil-seung’s competition, Eun-sae challenges an unfair decision with legal knowledge she cannot explain. Her training is still there, even without access to her personal history.
Then she picks up a familiar watch and encounters Sang-gil. She does not recognise the man who hurt her. He recognises her immediately. That uneven recognition makes the cliffhanger frightening.
Episode 8: The Escape Restores What the Attack Took

Sang-gil confronts Tae-ha and threatens the people around him. He also wants Eun-sae’s remaining evidence, giving him a reason to keep her alive temporarily.
Tae-ha accelerates the Japan escape plan, even trying to make her reject him so she will leave. At the harbour, his allies move her toward safety while he fights Sang-gil’s men. A second boat defeats the gang’s attempt to intercept her.
Wounded, Tae-ha remains ashore as fire engulfs the confrontation. Watching from the water, Eun-sae recovers her memories. She remembers the attack, her work and the truth behind the life she has been living.
Episode 9: Eun-sae Starts Fighting Back

Coach Hong rescues Tae-ha. Eun-sae returns to Seoul, reconciles with Hyo-jin and begins recovering her evidence. The confiscated watch was not her only recording device: her shoes contain another route to exposing Sang-gil.
Back in Gujin, she distances herself from Tae-ha while tending to his injuries. Her actions make her lingering feelings much clearer than her words.
The episode ends brutally. Tae-ha rescues Gang-rok, then repeatedly strikes a blocking car without knowing Coach Hong’s wife, Jeong-hwa, is inside. Sang-gil has arranged a situation that could turn Tae-ha’s closest supporters against him.
Episode 10: The Prosecutor Rescues the Boxer

Jeong-hwa is seriously injured, and Tae-ha confronts Sang-gil in guilt and anger. Eun-sae arrives as prosecutor Go Ji-won and has Sang-gil arrested. The evidence also brings down the mayor.
Jeong-hwa survives. Coach Hong embraces Tae-ha, refusing to let Sang-gil’s trap permanently divide them.
Later, the couple revisit their earliest connection: Eun-sae once exposed cheating at Tae-ha’s boxing match. Her defence of Pil-seung now has a clear echo in their own history. On Tae-ha’s birthday, she chooses him with her memory restored. The romance finally has an answer he did not supply for her.
Episode 11: An Old Photograph Changes Everything

The couple test their relationship outside the amnesia bubble, including distance and some ridiculous nickname jealousy. Eun-sae also continues pursuing Sang-gil’s crimes.
He escapes during transport and takes Tae-ha’s grandmother hostage. Inside her home, photographs reveal Tae-ha’s mother, Hye-su. Sang-gil recognises the woman he once abandoned and realises Tae-ha is his son.
The timing is the point: Sang-gil learns this now. His earlier abuse of Tae-ha was not a secret parenting strategy. I cannot treat the revelation as an excuse for him; it makes the damage he has already done more disturbing.
Episode 12: A Secret Remains, but the Couple Get Their Future

Kaito and the villagers fight back while Eun-sae brings police assistance. Tae-ha reaches his grandmother, then pursues Sang-gil. During the confrontation, control of the gun changes hands before Sang-gil dies by suicide. He never tells Tae-ha that he is his father.
Afterward, Gi-jun and Su-ji reconcile. Tae-ha and Eun-sae visit his mother’s grave, and he proposes. Their wedding brings the village together; when rain falls, Tae-ha welcomes it instead of retreating into painful associations.
A drunken wedding-night mishap gives way to a playful domestic ending and a family photograph with their dog, Bok. The Our Sticky Love recap ends with a marriage, not another memory reset.
What This Means Going Forward
The romance is resolved, while Tae-ha’s missing knowledge leaves room for discussion. For that question, read our Our Sticky Love ending explained or explore DaebakDaily’s Explanations.
The strongest change is Eun-sae’s freedom to choose after remembering. She can love Tae-ha without accepting his invented account of her past.
If the story continued after Episode 12, what would you want their next chapter to address: married life, Eun-sae’s career or Tae-ha discovering the truth about Sang-gil? Tell me in the comments.
